Cookie policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Cookies and browser storage let a website save small pieces of information on your device and read them later. This page explains what homestylecy.com stores on your device, why, and for how long.
Unless you agree, the site makes no connection to Google or to any measurement or advertising service.
Always on: Necessary
These are needed for the site to work the way you ask it to and to keep it secure. They need no consent, and none of them follows you on other websites.
| What | Type | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basket | Browser storage | Remembers the products in your basket and any discount code you entered | Until you empty the basket or clear your browser data |
| Cookie choice | Browser storage | Remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner | 6 months |
| Order message | Browser storage (this tab only) | Holds the WhatsApp message prepared by the order form (your name, phone number, delivery address and the products), so the button on the confirmation page can open it again if WhatsApp did not open | Deleted when you close the tab |
__cf_bm | Cookie (Cloudflare) | Protects the site against automated attacks | Deleted after 30 minutes of inactivity |
cf_clearance | Cookie (Cloudflare) | Remembers that you passed a security check, which usually runs without you noticing | 15 minutes; renewed while you are on the site |
| Administration session | Cookie | Only for authorised users logged in to the administration panel; never set for visitors | Until the session ends, at most 24 hours |
Information in browser storage is not kept on the website's server; the products in your basket reach us only in the WhatsApp message you send.
Only if you agree: Statistics
Google Analytics 4 helps us improve the shop by showing us which products and pages are viewed. Google Signals and advertising features are switched off. The data is processed on Google's servers abroad, including in the United States; detailed visit data is deleted after 14 months.
| What | Type | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Cookie (Google Analytics) | Recognises your browser as a returning visitor | Up to 2 years from your last visit; your browser may keep it for less |
Cookie starting with _ga_ | Cookie (Google Analytics) | Keeps track of your visit session | Up to 2 years from your last visit; your browser may keep it for less |
Only if you agree: Maps
The map showing where our shop is comes from Google. When it loads, your browser connects directly to Google's servers abroad, including in the United States; Google receives your IP address, may set its own cookies and may read cookies it set earlier. Google uses these cookies under its own rules: for example, to remember preferences such as your language, and to show ads in Google services to users who are not signed in to a Google account. Google's NID cookie lasts 6 months from its last use. Details are on Google's cookie page (policies.google.com/technologies/cookies). If you do not agree, a static image appears where the map would be.
Only if you agree: Video
Product videos come from YouTube. They load when you accept Video cookies in the cookie banner, or press "Play the video" in the video area. Your browser then connects to Google's servers abroad, including in the United States; YouTube receives your IP address, may set its own cookies and may use browser storage. If you do not agree, a notice appears where the video would be.
How to manage your choice
The cookie banner opens on your first visit. Rejecting is as easy as accepting: just press "Reject all" or "Accept all". "Cookie settings" lets you choose categories one by one. Nothing for Statistics, Maps or Video loads until you decide. Pressing "Load the map" in the map area counts as consent for Maps, and pressing "Play the video" in the video area as consent for Video.
Your choice is kept for 6 months. When that time runs out, or this policy changes, the banner opens again.
You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw consent for Statistics, Google Analytics stops and the _ga cookies are deleted; data already sent stays in Google Analytics until its retention period ends. When you withdraw consent for Maps or Video, the map or the videos no longer load; you can delete cookies Google and YouTube set earlier in your browser settings.
You can also delete all cookies and site data in your browser settings. Your basket will then be emptied and the cookie banner will open again.
